A Guide to Feng Shui Clutter Cleaning
First of all, let us define what Feng Shui is. It is more than just an Asian concept about color, design and placement. Feng Shui describes the quality of the energy in our living space, the flow of Chi in a building, garden or business.

Clearing clutter is the first step to organizing a space. Anything piled up slows down the Chi - the energy flow in a house.
Piles of paper on the desk, stacks of books in a bedroom, broken furniture in the basement and old boxes in the attic are not good storage solutions. All these piles and mounds and stacks and boxes just become obstacles to our quality of life. This is all considered clearing on the physical, material level.
Clearing on the energetic level is called 'Space-Clearing.' MORE
